Both Cisco and Fluidmesh have been offering video surveillance solutions for more than a decade but neither has become a major mainstream player in this market.

In this note, based on feedback from Fluidmesh and Cisco, we examine the rationale for the deal and what the two companies combined are aiming to accomplish.

Nervous about this one because it wasn't broken so I hope Cisco doesn't fix it. I'm surprised at the poll above, we must be in the minority on this, maybe, as we use it a lot. Or maybe people don't think Cisco will change anything for the worse.

The Encryption add on's work very well. Performance is great overall and we had never had to RMA one unit.

Stay healthy and positive everyone, one of my customers sent me this link yesterday and it made my day :)

Shot from Fluidmesh point to point setup? You can't say for sure it wasn't!

It has been many years since I've played with the FluidMesh product. If I recall correctly, they actually used Ubiquiti hardware for some of their radios - I do remember that a lot of their special sauce is not in the hardware but in the software.

Update: Fluidmesh the brand is no longer, with the FM series now called "Cisco Ultra-Reliable Wireless Backhaul":
