Cisco Acquiring Fluidmesh

Cisco announced it is acquiring niche wireless manufacturer Fluidmesh.

Both Cisco and Fluidmesh have been offering video surveillance solutions for more than a decade but neither has become a major mainstream player in this market.

In this note, based on feedback from Fluidmesh and Cisco, we examine the rationale for the deal and what the two companies combined are aiming to accomplish.
