Hikvision Parent Conducts Communist Party Training, Urges Strengthened Party Leadership

Employees of Hikvision’s parent (CETHIK, for CETC HIKvision) underwent intensive Chinese Communist Party training last month where they came up with ways to strengthen the Party’s role over corporate affairs, according to an official announcement.

The training sessions are yet another example of the influence of China’s government over Hikvision, despite Hikvision’s repeated claims to the contrary.

Charles, good reporting.

Hikvision maintains that this is all some sort of misunderstanding by the West about China.

But consider evidence and events just from this year:

This is public knowledge inside of China, in Chinese, but Hikvision refuses to explain or address any of this in the West.
