Dedicated Micros continues to make strong and shocking claims against IP. This week, they released a&nbsp;<a href="http://foveaindustryacuity.wordpress.com/2009/06/23/taking-a-closer-look-at-the-true-cost-of-centralised-nvr-based-cctv/">blog post on centralized IP recording</a>, extending a similar case made last month in their CEO's&nbsp;webcast/video. The economics in the blog post make no sense to me. I find the technical claims in the webcast/video to be quite weak (comments like routers having a bad day, etc.).&nbsp;
If this is DM's approach, I worry about their future competitiveness in a market migrating to IP cameras.
