Case Against IP Video

Dedicated Micros continues to make strong and shocking claims against IP. This week, they released a blog post on centralized IP recording, extending a similar case made last month in their CEO's webcast/video. The economics in the blog post make no sense to me. I find the technical claims in the webcast/video to be quite weak (comments like routers having a bad day, etc.). 

If this is DM's approach, I worry about their future competitiveness in a market migrating to IP cameras.
