Unlike megapixel cameras, growth in the video analytics market has been a struggle since the start of the recession. ObjectVideo is publicly declaring 2009 revenue growth driven by their progress in the Asian market. ObjectVideo states, "The Asia market ... may account for as much as a quarter of our revenue over a single-digit percentage in 08. It is a big reason we grew this year."
This implies growth in Asia over 150% and likely compensates for challenges in Western markets.
