Canon Company Arcules Violates ONVIF Rules
Arcules, the Canon / Milestone spinout, is violating ONVIF rules.
We raised this with Arcules 3 weeks ago. We raised this with ONVIF last week.
The issue is simple. Arcules is not ONVIF conformant but markets being so using ONVIF's logo in violation of ONVIF's rules.
The issue is important. The most common ONVIF problem we see is integrations not working by products that falsely claim to be ONVIF conformant.
UPDATE: After publication of this report, Arcules made changes that attempt to address this but raise more concerns.
