Good update!

"Pricing at $800-$1,200 decreased compared to before, but still is higher than China-based facial recognition offerings from Hikvision and Dahua."

There was no price decrease at all. Anyvision pricing model changes from Perpetual license at 2,500.00 to Annual at about 1,150.00. While annual might be easier for many customers, it is a bit misleading to represent the change as a decrease pricing and not changing the pricing structure. There are many customers that may still like to buy perpetual licenses that will not expire after a year. At this point they can not buy the Anyvision licenses.

I think that the Anyvision potential customer is not comparing it to HikVision or Dahua. The competition comes from other non-Chinese manufacturers of facial recognition. This is due to the sensitivity of the application and the level of performance needed.

Undisclosed Manufacturer #1,

Thank you, that is an important clarification.

As you mentioned, the upfront pricing was decreased, as it was converted to a SaaS model, though this increases longer term costs compared to their previous license.

This could certainly have an impact with Anyvision's customers.

Probably a typo but "Avigilon" is mentioned halfway the article. I assume this should be anyvision.

Thanks, Badir. That was a typo and it has been fixed.
