Adds GSA Schedule, Discloses Product PricingAuthor: John Honovich, Published on Dec 02, 2009
Genetec has announced that its products have been added to the US Government's General Services Administration (GSA) program. Inclusion in this program makes it easier for government to purchase products without having to go through a time consuming bidding process. In exchange, the US government requires that it receives the best prices available and that the pricing be publicly disclosed.
At the GSA Schedule website, a search for Genetec's GSA schedule #:GS-35F-0284U returns 86 matches including pricing for Genetec's numerous licensing options for camera licenses, archivers, failover, virtual matrix, remote viewing client, macros, mapping, etc. Note: these prices are likely to be significantly less than list as the GSA requires proof that the US government is the 'most favored customer'.
