Ranking Manufacturer Favorability 2021

Published Jun 30, 2021 13:24 PM

In our largest favorability survey ever, we ranked 55 companies based on feedback from 200+ integrators.

The companies included were (with links to individual reports): Alarm.com, AMAG, Amazon, Anyvision, Arcules, Arecont Vision Costar, Ava, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Briefcam, Brivo, CDW, Dahua, Dell, Digital Watchdog, DMP, Eagle Eye, Exacq, FLIR, Flock Safety, Genetec, Hanwha, HID, Hikvision, Honeywell, Huawei, Kantech, Knightscope, LenelS2, March Networks, Meraki, Mercury, Milestone, Mobotix, Motorola, Network Optix, ONVIF, OpenEye, Openpath, Panasonic, Pelco, Proxy, Qumulex, Rhombus, Ring, Azena (Formerly S&ST), Salient, Software House, Ubiquiti, Uniview, Verkada, Vivotek, Wyze and ZKTeco.

Integrator votes and in-depth comments revealed which brands were well regarded for value, performance, or support, and which were viewed as overpriced, untrusted, or unknown.

Inside this report, we share:

  • Net Favorability Results Ranked from the most to least favorable
  • 2021 vs. 2019 Net Change in Favorability showing which companies gained and lost the most
  • Neutrality rankings showing which companies integrators felt most and least strongly about
  • North American manufacturer rankings
  • Asian manufacturer rankings
  • VMS rankings
  • VSaaS rankings
  • Access/Intrusion rankings
  • Alphabetical Ranking Chart

Notes:

  • These results, as with all IPVM research, may NOT be used promotionally, as it violates our terms of service and is against our fundamental philosophy of independence and research, not marketing.
  • These organizations were chosen based on our statistics of what our global membership base is most interested in having reviewed. Outside of the biggest 10 or so manufacturers (e.g., Avigilon, Axis, Genetec, Hanwha, etc.), deciding on inclusion or exclusion is difficult as name recognition is much lower for most other companies.
