Is this camera an OEM from another vendor? If I am not mistaken, wasn’t Panasonic OEMing Oncam a couple/few years ago? Doesn’t Panasonic OEM most of their existing lineup from Dahua?

Aug 02, 2018To my knowledge, this is not an OEM. It uses a different web interface, different construction (much much different from Oncam especially), has different capabilities, and so on.
Panasonic does OEM some cameras from Dahua, but it is not most of the line. It's only the V series, which we report on here.

Aug 02, 2018With Panasonic Gold Partner Pricing, this unit is still $450 more than our Axis Gold Partner Pricing on the M3058-PLVE. This might be a tough sell for only a marginal gain in video quality. Im curious how Panasonic justifies this top of the market price.
