Maybe I missed it but I didn't see any mention of the built in mic? I was curious to see how you rated the quality of the audio and if it works with any of the VMSes. We have only installed them with Dahua NVRs and have little experience with other audio surveillance (except for a single omni directional Louroe mic we did a few years back) for comparison.

Aug 08, 2017I have hear the mic on a 4MP camera on a 4K TV, it sounded very good...also when played back through the NVR audio was clear if this helps

Aug 08, 2017Smart H.265+ bitrates were lower than Smart H.264+ in all scenes tested, by nearly 70% in daytime scenes, and ~40% in low light.
H.265 finally delivering > 50% savings over H.264?

Aug 08, 201750% is not totally uncommon. Hikvision's H.265+ was reached 50% in some cases, as well.
I wouldn't make a blanket statement that it's always 50% lower than H.264, but it's possibly that low in some scenes.
