Published Jun 12, 2017 13:00 PM

Australian-based iCetana says their GPU-based anomaly detection analytics are proven and ready to expand globally. To do that, they have raised $6M to build sales teams in the US and Europe.

CEO Chris Farquhar [link no longer available], and lead investor Matthew Macfarlane [link no longer available], spoke with IPVM about the company, current customer base, and why they think their product is set to challenge other analytics offerings. We share the details in this report.

That's going to be a tough Ho to Road as they say.  First, it's a difficult sale and second, there is Avigilon with it built in.

Good luck!

To be fair, Avigilon does not have it built-in yet, they've only shown a technology demo. It would be interesting to see how the two systems work side-by-side once Avigilon does ship something though.

Would be interesting to do an updated comparison between Avigilon and iCetana. Also what competition is out there as anomaly detection is a very useful technology for monitoring lots of cameras in busy environments.
