If ONVIF had just started its work on h.265 a year or two earlier this might not be such an issue.
And H.265 has been just around the corner for the last 5 years, so it's not like they didn't know it was coming...

Jan 11, 2017When we were doing this test, we talked to the major VMS providers, and indeed, two of them said they planned H.265 support for the Wisenet P the first half of 2017. We also have word that another will be adding H.265 support in the same timeframe, so it wouldn't surprise me if we see it supported there. I will leave you in suspense as to who, though ISC West is less than 90 days away...

Apr 07, 2017Quick question: does one of you know if the 9080r cameras (P series) support multi-crop streaming? In the specs and marketing materials of the 1080p Wisenet III and Wisenet X series cameras, this is a feature that is specifically mentioned. In the materials for the 4K P-series cameras it only says up to 5 steams but multi-crop is not specifically mentioned. Thanks for your help on this!
