Verkada 2020 Cameras Image Quality Test

By Derek Ward, Published on Oct 06, 2020

Verkada's first-generation cameras suffered from numerous video quality problems. Now, they have released a second generation, but has it fixed these issues?

IPVM Image

We bought and tested two new Verkada models, the outdoor 4K CD61-E and indoor 5MP CD41 vs Axis Q3517 and Q3518 and Hikvision DS-2CD2755 and Hikvision DS-2CD5585.

Video quality continued to have problems but in a way that we have never seen before in IPVM testing.

We plan a separate test of these camera's video analytics performance shortly.
