Wireless Transmitter And Receiver Sets For Alarm Contacts?

I've got a customer that has a rear exit door in the back of their office. They don't really care about access control for it, but would like a door contact on it so they know when someone props it open (smokers).  I know that DMP has a wireless contact, but that's got direct integration into their panel. I want a direct contact input and a direct contact output so I can go into an S2 blade and have it pop up on their access control window.

I've used Dakota Alert in the past for this  (UT-2500  and DCR-2500)  but I'm curious to see what others have used.   Seco Alarm has some stuff, but the transmitter requires external power input and I'd rather have something battery powered (there isn't power nearby and it's brick/block construction on the outside)

Open to product ideas.

Just so it's understood, you're looking for both a wireless contact and receiver for this? Or do you already have a receiver in place?

Correct,  wireless contact transmitter and wireless contact receiver.. Nothing in place now.

Looking closer, it looks like http://www.seco-larm.com/  does make a transmitter that has both an internal battery and external power inputs

I am still curious as to what others have used

Linear DX used to be my go-to for this application, but that was a solid 15 years ago, however the alarm industry does not seem to change very much, so they may still be worth looking into.

In the past, I've use Inovonics EN4200 based stuff, but it isn't cheap enough to use for just one point.  It integrates easy, but runs ~$100 for the receiver.  The receivers have a relay N/C or N/O output that you can integrate with an access controller.

For what it's worth, you can battery power the Seco-larm 1-channel transmitters. I've done it in the past and it's shown in the spec sheet (but not the web page).

But I agree with the Brians' recommendations here. Linear DX or SX are good options. I used them not long ago, actually. And Inovonics is solid. Neither will be as inexpensive as Seco-Larm, but could be a cleaner install.
