Im working with a customer in designing a system which would include applying cameras inside a steel fabrication plant where the cameras will be pointed directly at guys dropping welds all day long with welding arcs in play constantly. Does anyone know whether it will damage the image sensors early, over time, or at all, and would the damage be similar to that of a laser?
