It's common knowledge, reflected in the Largest New Video Surveillance Projects report but it is going to get another big boost now:

"The king’s post-coronation giveaway will ultimately cost more than $32 billion. That is a lot of cash, more, for example, than the entire annual budget for Nigeria, which has Africa’s largest economy.... Some of the government spending will come over years, but most will hit the Saudi market this month, including the bonuses. About three million of Saudi Arabia’s 5.5 million-person work force are employed by the government"
Of course, this money will benefit all sorts of products and services, beyond surveillance.
But this is a good reminder of how much money and how attractive the Middle Eastern market is to the surveillance industry.
