"Is it common for manufacturers to guarantee their controllers for life?
Our current provider guarantees their controllers for life. They do go bad from time to time. We send them back and they send a replacement at no charge. We pay only shipping."
Which platforms offer a similar lifetime warranty on controller hardware? This is a nice selling point, because even a single door controller can be $600 or more dollars, so sporadic failures can add significant costs in a short time.
