Apr 05, 2019Panasonic makes many of their own cameras but OEMs from Dahua for many others. After the NDAA ban was passed, Panasonic USA discontinued OEMing Dahua cameras but other Panasonic regions still OEM Dahua. Buyer beware.

Apr 05, 2019To clarify, it should read "OEMs FROM Dahua".
The core line of Panasonic is made by Panasonic. They have their own DSP - super dynamic, mega super dynamic, etc.
As others have mentioned, they have brought on some OEM into their line to compete on low end, as well as the OEMs that Video Insight has in their line.

Jul 10, 2019In the US Panasonic has two lines of cameras, the I-Pro cameras which are all Panasonic manufactured. There are no OEM's in the Panasonic branded line anymore. The Advidia line which they obtained when they purchased Video-Insight is made up of all OEM'd products from 3 manufactures.
A-Series - Hikvision (A-37-F)
B-Series - Acti (B-27-V)
E-Series - Dahua (E-37-V)
