I'm working with a customer that has an old bar code scanner ID badge system.. The name is Northern Computers INC. HID doesn't have anything like this. Can anyone out there identify this, or preferably a replacement that also has prox/Iclass in it so we can migrate them away from it? (it looks like mag swipe, but it's not)

Dec 14, 2016The good thing about that particular reader is that it was widely rebranded under a handful of names. There is likely still a healthy stock from someone, ie: the Kantech BC-301 Bar Code Reader model seems to be available/ stocked.
I don't know about combo/multi-tech bar code readers just yet. I'll keep looking.
