A customer I have is looking to update their Jail intercom system, but through their research, they are finding it hard to find an intercom that allows them to eavesdrop or listen to the door station uninitiated (ie guards want to listen on the inmates without the inmate pressing a button). My question is what systems are have you deployed and what challenges did you need to overcome? I'm leaning more to a standalone non SIP/IP system for security, but I am open to anything.
