We are a small outfit, but have installed 1000+ Hik cams over the last few years. Many of our clients have gated compounds that we have typically protected with perimeter security (PIRs and PE beams) + cameras. Are there compatible NVR or VMS that are compatible with Hik cams that that have better intrusion detection so we can drop the physical security part of it. Looking to use for video verified alarms.

Your question / scenario is probably easier since you are open to using a 3rd party NVR or VMS? For example, you could use Milestone XProtect and then connect a variety of analytics that work with XProtect or Avigilon Control Center and use their Analytics AI Appliance. Of course, any of these approaches will add way more cost than Hikvision's cameras and NVRs.
