Anyone?

The FoV is the same for each, yes/no?

When it’s mounted on the ceiling looking down it’s called a 360, when it’s on the wall it’s 180.

Really it’s always 180.

They both use a fish-eye lens but the projection of the lens used for the 180 variant is slightly bigger than the 360. This results in a circular image for the 360 and for the 180 it's a slightly bigger circular image with top and bottom cut off. Effectively this creates a higher effective resolution for the 180 variant. See attached image.

A 360 degree single imager is common for ceiling installations. A 180 degree single imager is more common in wall installations or in-ceiling in corridors / hallways.

Is anyone offering a 180 version other than Bosch?

Disclosure: I used to work for Oncam.

The difference between a true 180 and wall mounting a 360 is where all the pixels are. Wall mounting a 360 wastes a ton of pixels (read bandwidth and storage) looking straight up at the ceiling/sky and straight down at the floor. A true 180 moves more pixels into the "meat" of the FoV.

UI2 - This is interesting timing, as Oncam has just released a true 180. You can see it on their website.
