What Do You Use For Server Remote Access? Logmein, Teamviewer, VNC, Etc?

We have been using Splashtop for remote server access for several years and overall, it works okay. It's actually gotten better over the years, but it's still not as smooth as LogMeIn used to be. However, we're grandfathered into a plan that's only $432/year for 9 users, with no limit to the number of machines it can access, and that's been hard to beat.
We could switch to just using RDP which would cover most servers and be free, but that has some limitations, also. It would only work over VPN, for one, instead of just cloud access. And Splashtop (and others) work on Mac and Linux, as well, which we use.
