What Do You Think Of Genetec's SV-32 Appliance?

With it using a I7 machine, isn't that quite high for 32 channels?

We've only rolled out one... but I like it. It might be a little high but considering Genetec SC Mobile server is transcoding all of the video to be viewed in their mobile app, I think that has something to do with it. Generally it has been very quick, stable and quiet. We've attached additional storage to it with no problem, have connected multiple brands of cameras including HIK ONVIF units. It's definitely not cheap, but all things considered I think its still a good value.

Hi Sean,

We are actually deploying a SV-32 this coming Tuesday with 10 HIKVISION Cameras, One Arecont, and One Samsung. Would you be able to tell me which firmware you used on the HIKVISION Cameras?
