These all have time lines associated with them . or not legal and will just have a great court battle.
New Contractor, Business will usually be on limited terms, Funding for 1st , 1-5 years , if you have a record of stability then you can get elevated to the next level .
Not many finance officers want to give loans with out great returns. or secured colateral on the table.
as for the distrubution side , That can be held up based on credit reviews and the sales clerk would not know unless he was knowledgeable to go searching.
We have had products held due to over extentions on credit and the salesperson did not make to effert to check on it. I found out when persueing the issue.
If you want something completed in a timely manor ( Dont leave it to someone else to do and forget about it ) Keep up on it and push your team to perform to your expectations.
This issue is a normal accurance when you have new hires, who dont quite know all the ins,outs of the Distrubutions, shipping, handling,Products from factories.
Other issue is some manufacturers require you to go thru distrubution , then ship to you .
ADI has some of these . ask a lot of questions ?
Not all items on shelf. Some items have back order timetables, 1 week, 2week, 30-60 days.
Manufacturers will not just ship you directly and bypass thier aggreements with the distrubutors.
As a little guy you have a learning curve thru these process's
Not always the fault of adi,graybar,anexter or others : Beyond thier Control
sometimes lack of knowledge, process, experience causes these problems in distrubution.
