What Cable Colors Do You Use For Surveillance Systems?
The color of network cable jacket used for surveillance varies significantly, in my experience.
Often there is no assigned color just for surveillance, and whatever jacket color is predominantly used (e.g., blue or grey) or whichever color is on sale at the distributor for cheap is used. Even authorities like BICSI do not define which colors to use. (See: BICSI For IP Video Surveillance Guide)
