Haris Khurshid - Transcript Final Interview
JH: Haris, I’m pleased to say that we have reviewed your qualifications and checked your references and found them impeccable. The team and I are impressed. Aside from that, however, and just as a formality, I would like to ask you a few questions relating mainly to the industry culture and its intersection with finance.
Firstly, what is the term used to relate the quantity of photosensitive elements to currency?
HK: That would be Pixels per Dollar or Pixels per Penny, depending on the era and the exchange rate.
JH: Ok, good. In the movie, Boiler Room, what is the name of the trainee that has already passed his Series 7 exam?
HK: His name is unstated and therefore unclear, however he is referred to as “Skippy” before being asked to depart.
JH: Excellent! Final question, in the movie Glen Garry, Glenn Ross, who wins the Sales contest?
HK: Again, unclear. Certainly Ricky Roma claims victory, but this is not assured since
1) Roma incorrectly thinks his client’s check was not stolen.
2) Shelly’s last minute sale - eight units Mountain View may beat Roma.
3) There is still time for others to win, since the “Monthly Sales Contest” was first announced just one night before.
JH: Welcome to IPVM!
