Weatherproofing Advice For Axis Parapet Mounts?

Hi,

We're going to use the Axis telescopic parapet mount linked below. We'll be coming out of a weatherproof box with conduit, etc. going straight into the side of the mount and making the connection there. All of that will be weather rated. We can seal up any holes we make for bolts and around the mount and our roofers have approved all that. What I'm not so sure on is the design of the mount itself. There is a small gap around where the pole comes into the top of the backplate / coverplate, so it is inherently not going to be weatherproof at the top. Do I need to seal up around the pole? I don't want to necessarily seal the bottom with that design as anything that got in might pile up in there if it can't get out. Do I need to stick a pipe seal of some sort into where the conduit meets the parapet mount? I don't think water's going to pile up inside the mount high enough to flood into the conduit and into the building but at the same time I've seen crazier things so I'm not going to rule it out. Just want to make sure I'm covering bases here.
