Good day, may I ask how to maintained the video stability of the CCTV? What are the possible ways on how to prevent video loss in the cameras?

Sharing your feedback and expertise in this area will be most appreciated.

Thank you.

Here is a good fundamental list:

- Good power sources, with proper output ratings, within specs. If analog, use quality PSU with proper amp ratings. If PoE, use quality switches with appropriate budgets.

- Good cable with proper spec and best practices followed during install. Do not exceed standards. Use patch panels for head end if using CAT cable. STAY AWAY FROM CCA CABLE!

- Quality connections installed properly. Don't skimp on BNC connectors. One truck roll for a BNC connector kills margins. Make sure you use quality CAT keystones and jacks as well. 8P8C jacks seem to be more forgiving and is the rare place I don't overspend.

- Use manufacturer approved accessories to house connections when possible. Don't rely on substandard practices for waterproofing connections. Buy the matching junction boxes.

- Secure head end equipment in a way to keep all wire secure and out of reach. This prevents wire being moved, which increases likelihood of connector stress.

- Keep frame and bit rates as low as needed. Extra data bandwidth can cause issues.

- Don't terminate or install in substandard lighting conditions. Make sure you have enough light to do your work. You can't be sure of what you cannot see.

I will let others chime in to add their own advice, but this would be a good start.
