Verkada Criticizes NVR Storage Retention But Verkada's Is Worse
Verkada routinely makes the following point, most recently in a webinar:
the problem with an NVR is that there are storage limitations, it's really difficult to ensure that you're able to retain the desired amount of footage for those cameras, whether that's 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 365 days, whatever that is, it's difficult to calibrate that and it takes upfront configuration.
