Has anyone successfully port forwarded through one of these? I am working with hikvision and canyouseeme.org is failing to check port 8000.

I work with comcast routers usually and never have issues and today I have been onsite for hours trying to figure this out.

Usually on the Verizon LTE modems you will need to order a static IP from them to make it work.  Without it, the network is still behind another private network if you look at the wan address.  If not than try getting a DVR with P2P remote access.

Yes, this, you're behind a giant Verizon NAT unless you are setup as a reseller with static IP's ($500 charge).

We dealt with this just recently with a customer who had installed a MiFi from Verizon.  The manufacturer was of the MiFi wasMoFi, all ports are opened however you need the static from your Verizon reseller.  There is an additional charge for it from Verizon.
