In what sounds like a nightmare for any parent, a couple in West Haven, Utah recently ended up locked out of their apartment, with their toddler inside, for more than three hours because the passcode to their Vivint door lock had been changed without them realizing it, according to
A local news station reports the couple reportedly contacted the police, who contacted Vivint but got no information from the company and did nothing, before finally resorting to breaking into their home through a window. They also tried seeking assistance from their building management and locksmiths.
