I communicated with Hikvision USA Tech support to update my Hikvision camera and DVR firmware. They sent me to this link for current firmware:

I can't find "cameras" on this link.
Can someone help?
It's under 'IPC' which is their acronym for IP cameras. Then pick your series from that list.
I sorted this out. Looked under IPC and found them.

I've started my firmware upgrade of select cameras and the instructions made it clear you have to do the upgrade in the order they are posted.
For example: A camera I have is listed as: DS-2CD45x5F-IZH v5.3.4 v5.4.0 v5.4.5
I have FW 5.3.4 so I went to 5.4.0 first (lost all my smart event arming schedules but area settings-i.e. regions or lines-were all present) then to 5.4.5. Then I reset all my area settings.
