UK Camera Commissioner Releases Annual Report

The Biometrics and Surveillance Camera Commissioner (OBSCC) has released his annual report covering the 2021-2022 period.

In the report, Commissioner Fraser Sampson was critical of the moves by the UK government to abolish the OBSCC and absorb it into the Investigatory Powers Commissioner's Office (IPC) while scrapping the Surveillance Camera Code as part of the upcoming Data Protection and Digital Information Bill.
