Oct 17, 2016It uses terahertz imaging, according to the website. The unit is moderately sized (2ft high, 2 ft deep, 8" wide), which may make it somewhat easy to spot if a person is trying to actively avoid it. Also, the detection range for smaller weapons is listed as 6M/18ft.
