Which, considering Sony's IC output and Southern China's numerous manufacturers, seems amazing.
Could it be actually true, though?

I think that Foxconn city in Shenzhen would be the biggest by several orders of magnitute. But technically they're a Taiwanese company and I'm unsure if they buy the chips themselves or if Apple always owns all the BOM.
I am guessing that Longse means video surveillance manufacturers. Sound fair to you? If so, who would you guess is the biggest buyer amount South China video surveillance manufacturers?
From my correspondence with them, they claim to OEM for a a few large brands. I wouldn't be surprised if they are the largest buyer, considering they OEM for a lot of brands and I suspect Hikvision and Dahua focus a lot more on IP cameras.
By Longse saying 'Southern China' they are most certainly impictly excluding Hikvision and Dahua who are based on Zheijiang.
