Ignore this unless you are interested in low level tech details or have recently hit a problem.

We used to have 2 types of IPVM published content (reports and updates, e.g., ipvm.com/reports/abc-test and ipvm.com/updates/3210). This was my mistake years ago as I was trying to separate long form posts, like tests from short notes about news. Over the years, the 'updates' have often become quite long, blurring the line between the two.

Now, everything is a report. This simplifies the code base, reduces bugs, makes it easier for us to do posts, etc.

For you, this should be transparent as old links should just redirect to new ones. If you see anything that breaks, please let us know and we will fix it right away.

This is part of our tech debt / app upgrade / site redesign that we are in the middle of. Next step is to roll out the responsive web redesign which will improve the mobile experience greatly.
