I'm working with a client who is currently using AMAG's "Symmetry" VMS, and their website says that they support ONVIF compliant cameras from leading manufacturers (Axis, Sony, etc.), but doesn't say they're generally ONVIF conformant. Does anyone know if this VMS can run any ONVIF camera, or only certain ones? Our cameras are ONVIF Profile S... I just want to make sure they'll run.

Aug 27, 2014I could not find AMAG as either an ONVIF member nor any products on the official conformant list. That's not an encouraging sign.
AMAG does claim to be Profile S conformant in their marketing.
I would explain to his client the lack of official listing and the appropriate risk involved. Best to test.
