Suggestions For A Training DVR

Hi all,

I am currently researching equipment for law enforcement to use in training. The training surrounds the core skills required for the evidential recovery of Digital Multimedia Evidence from surveillance devices. Although the primary purpose of the device is to facilitate learning at a basic level, the ideal machine will also be suitable for more advanced analysis.

My requirements are therefore:

  • 4 Channel
  • Compact size
  • Unmodified H264
  • Optical disk export
  • USB export
  • View live and export over network
  • Will accept cloned HDD
  • HDD and Data (Video and Date/Time) readable out of DVR

I can find quite a few compact little DVR's that fit most but not all of these requirements. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

David

Sorry to bump, but has nobody got any suggestions - starting to think it doesn't exist!

Can you share a few example of compact DVRs you already know? This would give us a sense of what you are looking for and what is missing.
