Recommendations for where to repair out of warranty Sony SNC-DHxxx cameras ?
As recent as July 2016 a co-worker (who has left the company) sent several of these cameras to a Sony repair depot in Laredo for repair at a flat fee of $310.
Yesterday I called the Sony Service Plus number (1-866-766-9272) and after the operator suggested I hadn't listened to some nonexistent phone tree message about this, was told Bosch is handling Sony cameras, and to call 1-844-766-9732.
The Bosch phone tree for Sony (option 5) immediately gave me an "all operators are busy, press 1 to leave a message." I left a message, but that's pretty casual support.
Anyone have a better source for Sony camera repairs ? With 135 cameras deployed and out of warranty, we have a steady trickle of these cameras that stop responding and do not factory reset.
