Anyone know of any Solar power systems specifically targeted for IP cameras? My previous company used to work with Sun Surveillance, but I am interested in looking for something that has a smaller footprint (and can also power a wireless bridge as well).

Oct 06, 2016I have no direct experience, but others at my company have used the Comnet solar solution and I have heard it works well. I have proposed it for a couple of projects, but both are still pending.

Oct 07, 2016If you want to power an IP camera and a radio for LIVE, 24/7/365 operations, there's no way around using a solar electric power plant that is the size that Sun Surveillance would provide.
Live IP camera systems require the the primary system components to be powered 24/7, which requires the solar electric plant to be sized accordingly.
