Software For Multi-State Operation

We are for a multi-state operation that currently has a mix of software at each location.  We want to standardize on one single platform that can be centrally administered and doesn't require a complete replacement of existing cameras and access controls.  Currently we have Genetec, Adpro/Keyscan, Digital Watchdog/DSX.  I'm looking at Avigilon or Genetec to be the standard platform.  Cameras are Hikvision, Axis, Digital Watchdog (Cellinx), and Vitek.  And suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

About how many cameras/doors do you have per location?  Also, how many locations do you have?

Thanks for your first comment UEU1.

Right from the start, Genetec will require a secondary "restricted camera" license for your Hikvision cameras, which Avigilon would not. You could also replace the Hikvision cameras, but that does not meet the requirement of not replacing existing cameras and access control.

Secondly, depending on the access control hardware being Mercury or HID based, you may be limited in your availability to convert and centrally manage to Genetec Synergis or Avigilon ACM.

Are there specific operational capabilities your organization needs to consider? Business regulations/accessibility/video monitoring integration/intrusion alarm systems?

Here's a current breakdown on cameras and readers at each location.

Location   Camera Total   Card Readers

1   31   30
2   45   7
3   17   6
4   93   19
5   16   7
6   16   6
7   19   8
8   94   22

Locations 5,6,7,8 are HID and have Genetec installs.  There are regulatory operational considerations but either system will meet those.  More or less looking at a platform that will be able to support us as we triple in size by Q2.  Thanks again for your input.
