Skybell STILL Out Of Stock At ADI, Anyone Heard Anything?

We use the Skybell video door bell as it integrates with quite a few IoT and it has no monthly fees for storage.

However, it's been out of stock on Skybell's website and at ADI. 

Skybell is a Honeywell product, so it would seem that ADI would want to keep them in stock. But it's been about half the year and no stock. 

 

Anyone heard what's going on?

I have called them several times over the course of our tests (ie: 1, 2), and tried again today only to get a 'number out of service' message.

Just to be sure, I checked the website contact and they have a 'currently there is no call back support' disclaimer on their hours of phone support operation.  Not good!

We have heard the inventory shortages are a result of changing manufacturing suppliers, but that rumor was heard over a year ago and things have not changed since then.  So this prompts perception this is more than a logistics issue.

I'll keep reaching out for firsthand contact and comment on this.

Feedback from ADI: The traditional round version has been in stock, the new slimline has been out. Will take a few more weeks to get fully caught up.
