It seems there’s a demand for simplicity and availability, ultimately a “one-button operation”. Commercial and especially SMB customers quite often do not accept unnecessary complex video management systems, I totally understand why.
I see a number of vendors definitely on top of the trend, they place simplicity at the core of their customer experience, often (I would say “most often”) in a cost of functionality and always in a cost of flexibility. One size fits all.
