I'm in a town I don't visit regularly and I heard a very loud siren go off. I was told this was to alert first responders and goes off regularly, including in the middle of the night.
Is it reasonable to alert everyone in a town with the siren when there is an emergency, .i.e. fire or rescue squad dispatch?
