Should Commercial Security System Put In Separated Circuit Breaker Loop?

Hi All,

Is there common practice, or norm, or code (e.g. BS/EN50131), that security system (access control, intruder alarm and video surveillance) shall be put in individual and separated circuit breaker (MCB) loop of the premises? I understand ideally it should be separated so that power trip of other electric appliance in the same loop won't affect security system. But sometime it may not practical (e.g. legacy design, re-wiring, post installation change). So I want to know what's the practice and is it worth to do it if extra effort needed.
