Hi, I'm looking for info on how to program a license plate reader to get the best picture any time of day or night I'm using a Hikvision DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZH/P

Taking a look at the camera's user manual, have you enabled license plate tracking, e.g., excerpt:

If not, try that. If you have, what issues are you seeing with the image / picture quality?
