This thing looks like it might make a good stud finder, has anyone tried one yet? $199.
In typical startup fashion the thing can also detect rodents, check people's vital signs, diagnose cancer etc, but who needs all that?

Aug 21, 2016Yeah, obviously they're beyond hype with most of those claims.
The thing that separates them from other fantasy startups is
- They are actually shipping a product
- It might actually work (in a very limited, but possibly useful way)
Here's a mostly negative review of the device, though it does have some ability to detect thru walls, see at the 14:40 mark or so.
