We use Axis cameras and average 4 to 16 cams per remote site. Off grid application. Recording on sd card. Video goes into switch then into cell router then to us where we're currently using Axis Companion. Axis Companion and Camera Station both have draw backs so we hope to find a VMS that doesn't require an appliance/box/PC etc on the site. We just want it to replace Companion at and give us the fuller features of a regular VMS (Milestone, Genetec etc). I searched through IPVM discussions and articles and Goggled it but it seems everything requires a box of some kind on site. Does anyone have suggestions on where I should look.?
