I have a customer with an outdoor PTZ camera I installed a while ago. The customer purchased it and it was basically a counterfeit Hikvision camera with a copy of the software that never really worked. The built-in SD card didn't function properly and he only wanted it to look out on to the water and just live view from his phone.
He recently asked about a replacement with built-in recording with decent software that is relatively inexpensive. He stated that he didn't want a DVR/NVR. I don't install many PTZ cameras and I have generally found built-in software to be lacking. Does such a product exist? I'd like something that isn't a small consumer product as he already has a large commercial style PTZ. It just happened to be a poor copy of Hikvision.
